Cristina A. Bejan, PhD (BiB Founding Executive Director, USA) is an award-winning historian, theatre artist, and poet. A Rhodes and Fulbright scholar, she has had fellowships at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), the Wilson Center and Georgetown University. A playwright and spoken word artist (performing under her stage-name Lady Godiva), her creative work has appeared in the US, UK, Romania and Vanuatu. The Mircea Eliade Cultural Association (MECA) is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting Romanian culture, literature, and intellectual exchange among communities worldwide. Established as an extension of the "Mircea Eliade" Literary Circle, which began in December 2011, MECA has evolved into a platform that fosters cultural engagement through conferences, literary presentations, and artistic performances. By bringing together Romanian writers, scholars, and cultural figures, the association serves as a bridge connecting the Romanian diaspora with their heritage while also inviting international audiences to explore Romania’s rich literary and philosophical traditions.

With a repertoire that includes folk, rock, and popular Romanian hits, Trupa Frecvențe has become a key part of the cultural landscape in Colorado and beyond. Monica Muresan and Bogdan Stelian's performances not only entertain but also unite Romanian communities, creating a deep sense of belonging and nostalgia for those far from home. As ambassadors of Romanian culture, the band continues to inspire and connect people through music, ensuring that Romanian traditions remain alive and cherished for future generations.

With roots in Iași, Romania, Romulus has spent decades perfecting his craft, becoming known for his ability to elevate any event with a diverse and engaging musical repertoire. Since relocating to Colorado from Washington DC, he has become a central figure in the Denver Romanian community, known for his energetic and versatile sets that effortlessly blend traditional Romanian music with contemporary hits. His exceptional ability to read the crowd and keep the energy alive has earned him the reputation of being the soul of the party at every event he plays.

Their commitment to our community and enthusiasm for celebrating our Eastern European culture make European Delicious a very valued partner in bringing this lively festival to fruition.
